Newbridge College 10 St Andrew's College 6Newbridge College advanced to the second round of the Leinster Schools' Junior Cup when coming back from six points down at half-time to beat St Andrew's College 10-6 at Castleknock yesterday.
St Andrew's outhalf Felix Jones kicked two long-range penalties and deserved their interval lead.
Newbridge rallied and went ahead in the 40th minute when Niall Osbourne went over with Rob O'Hanlon converting. In the 49 minutes Rob O'Hanlon sealed the win when he kicked a penalty to conclude the scoring. O'Hanlon was the pick for Newbridge with Jones St Andrew's best player.
