Antrim 2-12 Queen's University 1-14:A LATE goal from man-of-the-match Brian Neeson earned Antrim the spoils last night.
The sides were level at the break at 0-10 apiece and after the restart Antrim’s James Loughery slipped the ball soccer-style past QUB goalkeeper Matthew Jackson. Queen’s fought back and Donal O’Hare, who finished with 1-8, edged them ahead with a goal after 61 minutes. However Queen’s were denied victory when Neeson finished a flowing move involving Tomás McCann and Paddy Cunningham to the net.
The sides were level seven times before the break as O’Hare’s accuracy from placed balls kept Queen’s well in touch.
