Meath 1-16 Wexford 0-3:HAVING RECOVERED from a first round defeat to Louth, Meath are through to the semi-finals following a resounding victory at Navan's Páirc Tailteann on Saturday.
Wexford failed to take advantage of the win in the first half and – with Bobby O’Brien starring in the Royals’ attack and the speed of William McGrath also causing problems – Meath took control to lead by 0-9 to 0-2 at the break.
The one-sided nature of the contest continued in the second period with O’Brien scoring a late goal as Wexford notched just one point in the half.
