A bad week for Swansea winger Richie Appleby. He is facing a charge of technical assault and a lengthy ban after twice kicking a ball into the face of a linesman during a game at Cwmbran last week. At a time like this he needs all the support he can get from his manager. Cue John Hollins: "If he was as accurate with some of his passing as he was hitting the linesman in the face, then he would not be in and out of the first team so often." Ouch.
