Republic of Ireland ... 1 South Korea ... 2The Irish under-20 side lost in Abu Dhabi yesterday when a late goal against the run of play gave Korea victory over Brian Kerr's side.

Liam Kearney put the ball through to Stephen Brennan on the right wing after 29 minutes and the striker's cross was deflected back into the path of Kearney who finished well.

Jung Jo Gook equalised with a free-kick and Kim Dong Hun got their second four minutes from time.
