MUNSTER COLLEGES SF 'A' FINAL/PS Chorca Dhuibhne 2-10 De La Salle, Macroom 0-8:AN EXPLOSIVE start from Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne laid the foundations for a historic first Corn Uí Mhuirí victory in this entertaining final played at the Fitzgerald Stadium Killarney.

PS Chorca Dhuibhne began in whirlwind fashion and raced 0-4 to 0-0 in front. The game was decided with a blitz of scores on 20 minutes. Firstly Ó Conchuir batted down for Brian Ó Raoill to shoot to the net and then points followed from Ó Caomhanaigh and Dara Ó Sé as the Kerry side led 1-7 to 0-3 at the break.

Macroom had the strong wind for the second period and fought back in the third quarter but the PSC defence refused to concede a goal, and a Shane Ó hUallacháin goal late on ensured victory.
