CHRISTOPHER KIMMAGE repeated last year's win in the opening time trial stage of the Dublin Wheelers five day race, sponsored by Dublin Bus, at Howth last evening.

Last year Kimmage was seven seconds faster than Simon Coughlan and David Peelo and although he was 12 seconds better this time in three minutes 32.25 seconds for the 1.2 miles from Howth to the summit, he was only several hundredths of a second quicker than Coughlan and Ras winner Andy Roche from the Isle of Man.
