Construction work on the Sydney Olympic Stadium lost almost the whole month of August because of record rainfall in the area. Now organisers are faced with the headache of having to finish by March 1st of next year. The work, they say, will definitely be completed even if it takes the company three shifts a day. And they are not simply jive talking. The stadium is due to open on March 27th with a concert by the Bee Gees. We can only hope that the Games themselves are a little bit more exciting.
