Jarlath's advance as holders go out

St Jarlath's were the emphatic winners of this Connacht Colleges senior A football championship semi-final at Ballinrobe yesterday.

The Tuam side dominated the outfield exchanges but poor finishing left them only two points clear at the interval - 0-6 to 1-1. A goal by Declan Newell in the third quarter saw off Presentation, Headford.
