Ireland got their tour of Australia off to a winning start with a dominant performance in Perth.

Winger Andrew Maxwell crossed for three tries, scoring the first after 10 minutes and notching Ireland's final try in the 70th minute. Eoghan Hickey and Dermot Riordan were also prominent, scoring two tries each, while captain Gavin Duffy, John O'Connor, Stephen Keogh and Greg Mitchell added to Ireland's tally.

Ireland's next match is against Victoria Schools in Melbourne on Saturday.
