Hopes remain high that Bionic will be able to run in the Sagitta 1,000 Guineas, her owner's racing manager stressed yesterday.

Khalid Abdulla's filly has drifted alarmingly in the betting for the Newmarket race, her price being pushed out to 9 to 1. But Prince Khalid's racing manager Teddy Beckett said yesterday morning: "The Guineas is still the target. That is certainly her aim and we will have to wait and see."
