Padraig Harrington's recent consistent form slipped slightly during yesterday's second round of the Hong Kong Open. The Dubliner added a five-overpar 75 to his opening 70 to lie 10 shots behind Florida's Gary Rusnack.

But veteran Ian Woosnam carded a one-under-par second round of 69 to lie just a shot off the pace.

Rusnack made the most of the calm mid-morning conditions to fire a 68 for a six-under-par aggregate of 134 after 36 holes.

Woosnam stayed in contention on 135 alongside Sweden's Patrik Sjoland, who shot a best-of-the-day 65, defending champion Kang Wook-soon of South Korea (68) and American overnight leader Mike Cunning (70).

Sjoland, whose solitary senior title was the 1998 Italian Open, went to the turn in three-under 31 and a further two birdies on the back nine rounded off a bogey-free round.
