"Meat pie, sausage roll, c'mon Oldham give us a goal," has been the Boundary Park club's anthem since one of their supporters penned the classic a couple of seasons back. It's not exactly referee Paul Durkan's favourite tune though - on Saturday he was hit on the head by a flying sausage roll during the Oldham-Chelsea Cup match at Boundary Park. Durkan insisted, however, that the offending item was a hot dog, while a police spokesman said: "Something was thrown - it could have been a piece of food". Whoever made the sausage roll will see both men in court.
