The Barretstown golf classic takes place on Tuesday, October 23rd, at Elm Park golf club. Founded in 1994 by the actor Paul Newman, Barretstown provides a remarkable programme of therapeutic recreation that enables seriously ill children from Ireland, Britain and throughout Europe to rediscover confidence and self-esteem in an atmosphere of support and friendship.
