Portumna golf club, who have just been selected to host the Irish Schools' championship Irish club Youths, and Boys' Interprovincials in 2003, will hold an open singles competition every Monday through the season starting this week. The club, which has opened three new holes, are offering a round of golf for just £8. The handicap limit is 20 and places on the time sheet are available at 0509 41059.
