A 75 per cent success rate with his two-year-olds means that opposing Aidan O'Brien this season has been a sorely expensive business.

His latest juvenile runner is the Mr Prospector colt Finnan in the opener at Tipperary but maybe, just maybe, there is one to take Ballydoyle on here.

That one looks to be Galloway Boy who should find the drop back to the minimum trip on a flat track ideal. The third of Galloway Boy's three runs was in the valuable sales race at the Curragh over six furlongs won by the York hope Bally Pride.

Steve Mahon's horse eventually wound up a well beaten sixth but he held the lead after setting a blinding early pace to the furlong pole. An impressive debut winner at Navan, Galloway Boy scores over Finnan on the level of experience and is also likely to score on the level of value.

Midnight Lover can build on her seasonal debut at the Curragh and take the seven furlong handicap for Noel Meade. Midnight Lover ran in the Premier Handicap won by Desert Magic and after being held up out the back, she ran on to be a nearest at finish fifth.

The Sadlers Wells horse Fantastic Quest is a very interesting runner in the first division of the maiden hurdle. Well behind Enzeli in the Savel Beg Stakes, he had previously run Theatreworld to three lengths in a Navan flat race and an adequate round of jumping will make him hard to beat.

Dermot Weld's Fairyhouse bumper winner Clever Consul can take the second division and Chanoud, a good third to Young American at the Curragh, will take some beating in the nine furlong maiden.

Two horses who scored at Ballewstown can also follow up here. Snow Falcon can initiate a double for Noel Meade and the inform Pat Hughes sends out Miss Dale for the bumper.

Aidan O`Brien's Stravinsky is expected to make a strong challenge for the Group One Darley July Cup at Newmarket today. Stravinsky, ridden by stablejockey Michael Kinane, is one of three O'Brien runners - Bianconi and Lavery are also in contention. Still yet to fulfil his great potential, Stravinsky would be Aidan O'Brien's first July Cup win.
