Munster A 22 Connacht A 20:A LATE try from centre Tom Gleeson, which was converted by JJ Hanrahan, secured victory for Munster A in this useful friendly fixture played at Thomond Park yesterday.
Connacht led 14-9 at the break thanks to tries from Conor Finn and an intercept from Tadhg Leader. Declan Cusack replied, kicking three penalties for Munster.
Hanrahan took over the kicking duties when Cusack went off injured after the restart but two penalties from Leader seemed to be enough to secure victory for Connacht until Gleeson struck for his decisive try after 78 minutes and give Munster the win.
