HOLDERS Galway advanced to this year's All-Ireland Championship senior final when they defeated Kilkenny 4-14 to 2-11 in a thrilling game at Loughrea yesterday. Galway now face Cork, victors over Wexford in yesterday's other semi-final.
Galway's hero was Sharon Glynn, who contributed 2-12 of her team's total. Cork also a scoring hero: Liz Dunlea contributed 2-9 as they beat Wexford 3-22 to 1-7 at Pairc Ui rinn.
