St Brigid's 2-8 Padraig Pearses 0-9:FORMER ROSCOMMON star Frankie Dolan steered St Brigid's to a three-in-a-row victory in Kiltoom.
He scored 2-4, more than Pearses’ overall tally and got his second goal in the fourth minute of injury time at a time when Pearses had reduced the arrears to three points. Leading by 0-4 to 0-2 after 18 minutes, Dolan struck for his first three-pointer but the introduction of Seán Fahy ignited Pearses’ revival. Four points, including three frees, between the 48th and 58th minutes, pared back the margin to just three.
