A current sportsman who would probably trade a few less points on the golf course for a few more on the pitch is Leinster rugby hooker Shane Byrne. After the disappointment of the provincial side losing to Ulster in last Friday night's game at Donnybrook, he finished fourth in this club competition at Woodenbridge the next day with a fine score of 39 stableford points.
