The fourth annual Philip Walton Under-19 Scratch Trophy takes place at The Island next Tuesday. Patrick Devine, a three handicapper from the host club, is defending the title, which is contested over 36 holes. Among Devine's challengers is Darren Moore, who won the recent junior scratch cup at his home club of Seapoint, James Fox (Portmarnock) who is a younger brother of senior international Noel and Eamon Coghlan junior of Luttrellstown, son of the former world 5,000 metre champion.
