DANCE DESIGN, runner up to Matiya in the Irish 1,000 Guineas and subsequently third behind the French 1,000 Guineas second Shake The Yoke in the Group One Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot, reappears in today's Group Two Pretty Polly Stakes over two furlongs longer at the Curragh.

The extra few furlongs should be well within Dance Design's capabilities but she did not have an easy race at Ascot where she gamely attempted to make all the running and went down by only a neck and half a length. She has thrived in the interim and it may well be that today's race has not come too soon.

In the absence of Russian Snows, I will be surprised if Dance Design does not contain a not very strong British challenge and indeed, the progressive Theano, rated only 4lb behind Dermot Weld's filly, may most trouble the selection.

Peace Prize, who beat tomorrow's Irish Derby hopeful His Excellence over a mile at Naas, is taken to win the Waterford Crystal Celebration Race and I hope to see Con Collins land a double with Kimu in the IAWS Handicap and Real Guest in the Summer Fillies Handicap.
