Warrenpoint's Alison Coffey yesterday stormed through the semi-finals and final of the Ulster Women's Championship to retain the title.

In the morning, she brushed aside the challenge of her Royal County Down Senior Cup colleague Emma Dickson by 4 and 3, and then squashed the hopes of Nikki Moore (Clandeboye) 5 and 4 in the decider. It was Moore's second defeat in the final.
