Clonoulty goals see off rivals

Holders Clonoulty-Rossmore rallied for a fine win in the Tipperary senior hurling semi-final at Thurles yesterday. The sides were level 2-5 to 1-8 at the break, with Clonoulty's Maurice and Dan Quirke opening and closing the half with goals and Nenagh's Declan O'Mara grabbing their goal. Declan Ryan had Clonoulty's third goal early in the second half, but Nenagh pulled clear through point scoring only for the champions to level before Declan Ryan produced the winning point three minutes from time.
