The World Cup is over for French out-half Thomas Castaignede

The World Cup is over for French out-half Thomas Castaignede. The 24-year-old underwent a magnetic resonance scan yesterday that confirmed a torn muscle in his left leg will keep him out of action for the next month.

Castaignede pulled up injured during a closed-doors training session as France prepared for their match with Namibia today. The 31 times capped Castres player was replaced by Christophe Lamaison.
