Tottenham have rejected speculation that defender Sol Campbell (photographed arriving at Milan Airport) may be on his way to Serie A with one of the big Milan clubs.

The England international has been the subject of debate after being seen catching a flight to the Italian city but the club have insisted he will be back in London for pre-season training.

"Sol has not signed for anyone in Milan," a spokesman said. "As far as the club are concerned, he is on holiday and is expected back at pre-season training on Monday."
