Chris Breen retains his place in Finn Harps' attack against Shamrock Rovers tonight after an impressive return to the side in last week's 2-2 draw with Waterford United at the RSC.

Harps twice came from behind in that bottom-of-the-table clash with 20-year-old Breen, whose pace tormented the Waterford defence throughout, forcing the save of the match from Packie Holden a minute from time.

That was Breen's first start under caretaker player/manager Anthony Gorman, who believes the team has shown steady improvement in his six games in charge, though they've yet to win and remain bottom, albeit with three games in hand on Waterford.

"I have a lot of time for Chris and I know he's a really good player," said Gorman. "Now that we've become a little bit more difficult to beat we have to try and turn draws into wins.

"With Chris back in the team, and Conor Gethins likely to come in now as well, we have more scoring options, which is what we need to get us out of the situation we're in."

Harps' only likely change from the RSC should see Gethins starting in place of Paddy McGrenaghan on the left wing.

Left back Keith Doyle returns from suspension for Rovers, though central defender Jason McGuinness remains doubtful with a knee injury.

Cork City's left back Danny Murphy is suspended for their visit to Longford tomorrow evening. Billy Woods or Greg O'Halloran will start instead.

Longford remain without captain Barry Ferguson (broken hand). Danny O'Connor returns from suspension at right back but defender Stephen Paisley is doubtful with a groin strain.
