Bohemians - 3 Drogheda - 0:FAI CUP/Quarter-final replay: The concession of a stoppage time equaliser at O2 Park on Saturday ultimately proved Drogheda's undoing as Bohemians weren't prepared to let a second bite at the cherry of a fifth FAI Cup semi-final in a row be denied to them.

Beginning where they left off in Drogheda, when a last-gasp Simon Webb goal forced this replay, Bohemians forced their game on Drogheda, their early dominance rewarded with the lead goal on 13 minutes.

Drogheda had looked uncomfortable at the back from the start with both Jason McGuinness and Glen Crowe winning headers, Crowe's effort having to be hacked off the line by the Danny O'Connor.

Some less than assured goalkeeping by Gary Rogers was to cost Drogheda the lead goal. Drogheda players twice failed to cut out the ball, first from Thomas Heary down the right, and then from Kevin Hunt's cross. Crowe flicked the ball on to Robbie Doyle whose weak downward header embarrassingly trickled past Rogers on his line.

The jitters were present again for Rogers minutes later when he clumsily pushed Doyle's snap shot on the turn out for a corner.

Well on top, Bohemians were nonetheless struggling to create chances in a somewhat lethargic match and there was a tiredness evidence as they almost let Drogheda back in to equalise on 29 minutes.

The impressive Barry Molloy won a superb tackle on Fergal Harkin before playing a defence- splitting pass to put Mark Quinless in on goal. Shay Kelly, off his line promptly, rescued Bohemians when saving with his feet.

Bohemians made the game safe when Harkin's low cross in from the right was missed by Crowe but ran on for Dave Morrison who cut back inside to plant his right-foot shot into the top right-hand corner of Rogers' net in the 82nd minute.

Frustration then got the better of Pat Scully who was shown a straight red card by referee Alan Kelly for a reckless tackle on Paul Keegan. Harkin then put further substance to Bohemians' victory with their third goal on 94 minutes; crashing the ball to the roof of the net.
