DENMARK striker Mikkel Beck has complained to the European Commission that his club Fortuna Cologne and the German Football Federation (DFB) are blocking a lucrative transfer to English premier league side Middlesbrough, his lawyer said yesterday.

"The attitude of the German federation and clubs clearly violates the Bosman ruling and we hope the Commission will be just as strict now as it was right after the ruling," said Jean Louis Dupont, who successfully defended Belgian Jean Marc Bosman in his legal fight with UEFA.
