WEXFORD SFC FINAL: St Anne's 2-13 Castletown 0-8:FROM THE moment Red Barry crashed home a superb 36th minute goal St Anne's went on to turn on the style with a splendid exhibition of football as they totally outclassed Castletown finishing with 11 points to spare at Wexford Park yesterday afternoon.

It wasn’t the vintage final that everyone expected it might be, but it didn’t really matter as St. Anne’s turned on a power packed display through the 60 minutes, playing the game with skill and pace, with the result they were so dominant that Castletown were left shell-shocked such was the ferocity of the south county side’s challenge.

With St Anne’s reaching the top of the football ladder they were helped along the way by a power packed display from full-forward Red Barry who finished the game with a person tally of 1-8, with 1-2 coming from open play, as he teased and tormented the losers defence with a classic forward display.
