Francie Barrett wants to make his final appearance as an amateur in a fundraiser for Kosovan refugees next month organised by the Irish Amateur Boxing Association.
Smarting from his defeat by Corkman Seanie Barrett in the national light welterweight final, which virtually put paid to his chances of going to a second Olympics, Francie Barrett is hoping that his conqueror will agree to share the National Stadium ring with him once more on June 25th.
The Stadium bill should be packed with recently-crowned national senior champions.
