Peter O'Neill always comes to mind at this time of year. The former sports editor of the Sunday World, sadly no longer with us, would be seeking publicity for the annual outing of the Mended Hearts' Golf Society which, incidentally, is dedicated to his memory. Now the work of raising funds for the Cardiac Surgical Foundation at Mater Hospital and the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit at Beaumont is being done with equal enthusiasm by Kay Judge.
She tells me that Irish international Gary Cullen has agreed to complete a fourball at this year's outing, which takes place at Forrest Little on August 14th.
