Madam, - Vincent Wall of Aer Rianta openly admits (November 15th): "Aer Rianta's responsibility as airport manager is to provide adequate airport facilities for passengers with disability or those who have reduced mobility".
So why, therefore does the Aer Rianta airport monopoly not provide wheelchair services free of charge (a service provided free of charge to passengers at over 80 other airports all over Europe) for passengers making their way through Aer Rianta's own terminal building?
Is there any other public building in Ireland whose owner is not obliged to provide wheelchair access free of charge? Thought not! - Yours, etc.,
PAUL FITZSIMMONS, Head of Communications, Ryanair, Dublin Airport.
