A chara, – Except for an inadequate trickle coming from our kitchen tap, for the past seven days our family of six has had no water supply to our house. Despite written confirmation from a plumber that the problem is with its meter outside our property, Irish Water continues to refuse to offer any assistance. We will all be in deep water (or no water) when Irish Water has responsibility for repairs across the country (“Irish Water to become single national utility”, News, July 16th). – Yours, etc,
