Sir, – Frank McNally ponders on the demise (An Irishman's Diary, March 29th) of the car-chasing dogs but I can assure him that they haven't gone away, you know. The postman and I have recently had our own van tyres punctured by the aforementioned dogs. Some owners even asked me to de-fang the dogs but I deemed it cruel and unethical. So if Frank wants to see Kamikaze collies, I can act as his tour guide ... in his car! – Yours, etc,
