Sir, – Thanks to Frank McNally ("Tibb's the Season – Frank McNally on the patron saint of things that never happen", An Irishman's Diary, December 23rd) for his interesting piece on Tibb's Eve. I guess we'll have to wait till the cows come home or till hell freezes over to restore St Tibb to her rightful place among the exalted.
