Reading the small print

A chara, – It is almost impossible these days to buy any bit of equipment without getting an accompanying instruction leaflet in about 24 different languages.

Unfortunately, the font size on these leaflets is often so small you would want a powerful magnifying glass to read them.

Even using a phone camera to magnify the image is sometimes of little avail.

Given that these leaflets often include important safety information, surely there should be a statutory minimum font size for these leaflets to be acceptable in terms of consumer protection law?
