Madam, – You report that Taoiseach Brian Cowen claims that the economy has now reached a “turning point” (Breaking News, May 29th). This is not the first time, nor crisis, that this Taoiseach and assorted commentators have spoken of reaching such a “turning point”.
We have heard stories of so many turning points that perhaps the truth is that we are really going around in circles?
