Sir, - I congratulate the Minister for the Environment on placing a 15 cent charge on plastic bags. Could I suggest a similar charge on the plastic bottles, used mainly for soft drinks? The sight of these bottles strewn around our parks and pavements is as appalling as the sight of plastic bags flying from trees and hedgerows. - Yours, etc.,
