Madam, - I am interested that the Department of Health is contemplating the recall of iodine tablets "issued nationwide in 2002 as a safety measure" ( March 30th).
Whatever the efficacy or otherwise of these tablets, I am still awaiting the delivery of my ration, as I also await the arrival of my Millennium candle..
As I have lived at the same address for a mere 55 years, can it be that the purveyors of these freebies have not yet caught up with me? - Yours, etc.,
