Madam, – We are undertaking research on the Victorian engineering marvel that was the Atmospheric Railway, which ran from Dún Laoghaire to Dalkey, during the years 1844 to 1854. It was part of the Dublin Kingstown Railway, Ireland’s first railway.

We seeking any information pertaining to the Atmospheric Railway and the people involved in its design, construction, day-to-day running, and its eventual demise.
