It is an almost undocumented history spanning the era of the ballroom of romance, the showbands, and the disco-dancing competitions of the 1960s and 1970s, against a backdrop of immense change, both social and economic.
Campbell Ryan Productions is currently involved in research regarding one such ballroom of dreams, with the support of Dublin Corporation Arts Office, in order to create a unique documentary focusing on the National Ballroom on Parnell Square.
