Sir, – Does Pat O’Brien (Letters, August 6th) think that the only way to “speak for the taxpayer and for the performing borrowers” is to expose citizens to the uncaring whims of vulture funds?
As a “taxpayer” I do not want that done on my behalf or any other actions that would expose fellow citizens to the risk of homelessness.
Nor do I believe – given the total failure to ensure adequate accessible housing is available – that this Government has the moral authority to allow this sell-off go through. – Yours, etc,
