Madam, – In response to Patrick Tierney (June 19th), might I suggest that he pay us a visit when he next returns to Dublin. We pride ourselves on crafted presentation of draught Guinness and have done so for over half a century in its current form. We very much care that it is poured correctly, served at the correct temperature and with the desired “texture” he so eloquently describes. Frankly, we would not insult him, or any of our many loyal customers for that matter, by serving anything less. – Yours, etc,
