A chara, – I wish to correct your article “University celebrates its 40th year by honouring its early pioneering students” (Home News, October 1st). The first Graduates from the University of Limerick are not the class of 1972, that title goes to the class of 1971 who were an amalgamation of Ling College, Sion Hill and St Mary’s College in Twickenham.The authorities in UL are choosing to ignore this piece of educational history. – Is mise,
