Madam, - I have searched in vain through the full-page Ryanair advertisements of recent days to find the airline's new flight to Damascus. There must indeed be one, because Michael O'Leary's diatribe on the Dublin Airport Authority ( The Irish Times, September 8th) seemed touchingly full of concern for the convenience of passengers.
The only explanation for this must be some sudden conversion during his inaugural flight there. I look forward to the imminent dismantling of the passenger-unfriendly measures which were a feature of Mr O'Leary's pre-conversion thinking. - Yours, etc,
