Sir, - If fertile young Irish women adapt the fashion look illustrated (June 29th), I don't expect we'll see an increase in the Irish population for a number of years.
It's usually male fashion designers who turn women into appallingly ugly unfeminine visions. Sharon Wauchob says her clothes of luxury and high fashion counteract haute couture, which, she says, "is really contrived and about women manipulated into clothes.
