Sir, - I am following with interest the correspondence in your Letters columns relating to asylum seekers and some of the problems which they face while living here. They receive lodgings and full board has been acknowledged, one aspect which has not been mentioned is the possibility of depression or other psychological problems arising from the impossibility of coping with every day expenses on £15 per week. In the interests of the psychological well-being of asylum seekers, would the Minister for Justice reconsider introducing the right to work after a minimum specified period? - Yours, etc.,
(Mrs) Maureen Cullen, Thomastown, Co. Kildare.
