Madam, - Two weeks ago I injured my ankle on my way to work. I arrived at St James's Hospital by taxi at 9am. I emerged one hour later with my ankle dressed, complete with crutches and a prescription for pain relief. I also had been x-rayed to ensure my ankle was not broken.
I would like to thank the staff of the A&E department in St James's for their efficient and very friendly service. My first brush with A&E has been a most positive one. - Yours, etc,
