Sir, – Why do so many Irish drivers proceed immediately to the outside/overtaking lane when entering a motorway? They then proceed to hurtle along it at speed, endeavouring to get anyone in their way out of their way.

These drivers, and they are many, should be sent for a psychiatric evaluation as they are clearly suffering from emotional distress. – Yours, etc,
